Important Note: These texts were created over several hundred years, and reflect the prevailing influences of the time. Many of the texts contain information or untested extrapolations that have since been refuted by further study. Worse though, several texts in an attempt to be comprehensive, parrot hearsay without first verifying source credibility. By modern standards Astrological conclusions were extrapolated from a relatively small data set. As such, some dogma may require revision now that computers allow more charts to be analyzed. Readers are thus cautioned to intellectually ruminate upon whatever is presented in these texts.

Unorthodox Astrology

The texts in this section are meant as introductions to astrological speculations and techniques that fall slightly to considerably outside the mainstream of Horary, Natal, and Mundane Astrology (note though that the Horary information contained in Christian Astrology is still a cornerstone reference for Horary Astrology). This is especially true of Vedic and other astrological disciplines that discuss the subject of reincarnation. Being unorthodox does not necessarily make these texts invalid (Arabic Parts or Directional Astrology for example were once commonly plotted, and only recently have fallen out of vogue), but you should nonetheless be circumspect and selective about incorporating what they claim.
