32 - Adversity

This card represents a state of misfortune.
This card is the opposite of card 26; and exudes a Negative tone.

This card describes EASE, and can be judged as a greater form of card 24.

While this card rarely might be referring to a downturn in wealth, it typically is referring to difficulty in your progress (perhaps even as a misfortunate consequence of circumstance). In a Spread it usually indicates that interactions with the associated party were/are/will be either unproductive or adversarial.

Note that this card does not indicate "thwarted from achieving your goal", but rather a state of affairs where everything seems to be going against you. The length of time however is left undetermined.
