This card represents a wise traditional grandfatherly viewpoint, regardless of the patricians gender or relationship.
This card is the opposite of card 06; and exudes a Neutral tone.
Historically it would have been assumed that a patriarchal orientation would only be exhibited by a male, although in practice it can be a person of any gender but of sufficient maturity who fulfills this role (such as an advisor, therapist, reverend, professor, etc.). This card could indicate a peson perceived as that persona (such as a kingly father) or perhaps that you should take on the role; but typically the cards appearance will be to suggest that you take counsel from a patriarchal figure. The person in the role is assumed to be sincere when providing what they believe is good advice, but bear in mind that the counsel provided might have the potential of causing a hindrance to your agenda (for better or worse) should it be followed.
When persona card 05 is associated with persona card 06 in a Spread, it indicates a persona that is a blending of both cards.
The recent usage of this card to represent an older male Significant or Querent is nowadays disapproved (cards 01 or 02 should be used instead); but its use as a stand-in for a rival or cuckold is acceptable IF the card describes a person who is primarily seen in the role of a patriarchal figure.
